The Listing Contract Types feature helps categorize listings based on employment or property contract terms.

Steps to Add a New Listing Contract Type

  • Enter Contract Type Details:

    • Name: Enter the contract type (e.g., "Full-time," "Part-time," "Lease").

    • Slug: Create a URL-friendly version (e.g., “full-time”). Use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.

  • Assign a Parent Contract Type (Optional):

    • If this contract type belongs to a broader category, assign a parent type.

    • Example: "Part-Time" under "Employment."

    • Choose None if this is a standalone contract type.

  • Add a Description (Optional):

    • Provide details about the contract type (e.g., duration, benefits).

    • Some themes may display this information.

  • Upload Media (Optional):

    • Image: Used for "Taxonomy" shortcodes.

    • Icon Image: Displays in listing sections and maps.

    • Icon: Used for "Taxonomy" shortcodes and maps.

  • Customize Colors (Optional):

    • Icon Color: Defines the color for contract type icons.

    • Background Color: Sets the background color for display.

    • Text Color: Changes text color for contract type names.

  • Add a Map Image (Optional):

    • If your theme supports map images, upload a custom image for better representation.

  • Click “Add New Listing Contract Type” to Save.

Example Contract Type Structure:

📂 Employment Contracts (Parent Category)  📁 Full-time  📁 Part-time  📁 Freelance  📁 Internship

📂 Property Contracts (Parent Category)  📁 Lease  📁 Rent  📁 Sale

Additional Tips:

✔ Ensure contract types are clearly defined for easy filtering. ✔ Assign icons and images to enhance user experience. ✔ Use consistent naming conventions for better organization.
