Listing Amenities

WordPress Dashboard → Directory → Listing Amenities → Add New Amenity

Listing Amenities help categorize properties, businesses, or services based on available facilities (e.g., Wi-Fi, Parking, Pool, Pet-Friendly). These amenities enhance search functionality and improve the listing experience for users.

Steps to Add a New Listing Amenity

  • Enter Amenity Details:

    • Name: Add the amenity name (e.g., "Free Wi-Fi," "Gym," "Pet-Friendly").

    • Slug: Create a URL-friendly version (e.g., “free-wifi”). Use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.

  • Add a Description (Optional):

    • Provide a brief description of the amenity.

    • Some themes may display this information.

  • Upload Media (Optional):

    • Image: Used for "Taxonomy" shortcodes.

    • Icon Image: Displays in listings and maps.

    • Icon: Used for "Taxonomy" shortcodes & Maps.

  • Customize Colors (Optional):

    • Icon Color: Sets the amenity icon color.

    • Background Color: Defines the background color for display.

    • Text Color: Changes the text color for amenity names.

  • Add a Map Image (Optional):

    • If your theme supports map images, upload a relevant image.

  • Click “Add New Listing Amenity” to Save.

Additional Tips:

✔ Use consistent naming to ensure users understand the amenities. ✔ Assign icons and images to improve UI/UX. ✔ Group similar amenities under a category for easier navigation.
