The Listing Cities feature helps categorize listings based on geographical locations, making it easier for users to browse and filter content.
Go to WordPress Dashboard
Navigate to Directory β Listing Cities
Click βAdd New Listing Cityβ
Enter City Details:
Name: Enter the city name (e.g., "New York," "Sydney").
Slug: Create a URL-friendly version (e.g., βnew-yorkβ). Use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.
Assign a Parent City (Optional):
If this city belongs to a region or state, assign a parent category (e.g., "New York City" under "New York State").
Choose None if this is a standalone city.
Add a Description (Optional):
Provide details about the city (e.g., key attractions, business hubs).
Some themes may display this information.
Upload Media (Optional):
Image: Used for "Taxonomy" shortcodes.
Icon Image: Displays in listing sections and maps.
Icon: Used for "Taxonomy" shortcodes and maps.
Customize Colors (Optional):
Icon Color: Defines the color for city icons.
Background Color: Sets the background color for city display.
Text Color: Changes text color for city names.
Add a Map Image (Optional):
If your theme supports map images, upload a custom image for better representation.
Click βAdd New Listing Cityβ to Save.

β Use consistent naming (avoid abbreviations). β Assign parent cities to improve filtering. β Use high-quality images/icons for better aesthetics.
