Directory Listings

The Directory WordPress Plugin allows you to create, manage, and customize listings efficiently. This section covers how to add new listings, manage existing ones, categorize them, and use custom fields to enhance listing details.

Step 1: Navigate to the Listings Section

1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.

2. Go to Directory → Listings.

3. Click on "Add New Listing".

Step 2: Enter Listing Information

Basic Details

• Title – Enter a clear and concise title.

• Description – Use the editor to provide details about the listing.

• Featured Image – Click "Set Featured Image" to upload a primary image.

Categories & Contract Types

• Listing Category – Choose an appropriate category (e.g., Real Estate, Education, Fitness & Gym, etc.).

• Listing Contract Type – Select from options like Lease, Rent, Sale, Part-Time, Freelance, etc.

Location Information

• Listing City – Choose from available cities or add a new one.

• Listing Neighborhood – Select a neighborhood if applicable.

• Listing County/State – Choose a state/country for better categorization.

• Google Map Integration – Provide latitude, longitude, and zoom level.

Step 3: Set Additional Listing Options

Features & Amenities

• Listing Amenities – Add features such as Wi-Fi, parking, air conditioning, etc.

• Featured Listing – Mark the listing as featured for better visibility.

Contact Information

• Agent – Assign an agent if applicable.

• Phone Number – Provide a contact number.

• Email Address – Add an email for inquiries.

• Website URL – Include a business website if available.

Pricing

• Price – Specify the price for the listing.

• Currency Symbol & Position – Set the currency format.

Media Options

• Media - Videos – Upload or embed videos.

• Media - Images – Add additional images to showcase the listing.

• Media - Attachments – Upload brochures or other documents.

Special Features

• Virtual Tour – Add a virtual tour link if applicable.

• Floor Plan – Upload a floor plan for real estate listings.

• Event Details – Provide event details for event-based listings.

• Business Hours – Enter business operating hours.

Step 4: Publish the Listing

• Click Save as Draft if you need further editing.

• Click Submit for Review if admin approval is required.

• Click Publish to make the listing live immediately.

💡 Tip: Use the Preview button to check how the listing will appear before publishing.
